Non-Cheese Sauce - Soy-Free Version

From the Uncheese Cookbook

Blend and then boil and cook until thickened:

3 c. water
1/4 c. quick oats
1/3 c. nutritional yeast flakes
4 T. tahini
4 T. arrowroot or cornstarch
2 T. lemon juice
1 T. onion granules
1.25 t. salt
1 t. thyme, basil, oregano, dill or whatever
1/2 t. garlic
1/8 t. turmeric
Tabasco drops to taste
